Greetings all from Mesa, AJ and Gold Canyon!
Welcome to the new blog page, and thank you for taking a moment to check us out.
Beginning next week, this blog will be updated every Monday. We hope you will make it a regular part of your week.
To begin, let me share some key announcements with you:
CONNECT TO MESA – February 3rd
Originally scheduled to be an East Mesa Fellowship, this week’s Connect to Mesa has been cancelled – partly because of the Super Bowl, but mostly because there was such widespread agreement that the idea of getting a bunch of people from east of Power Road over to the Gilbert campus, by 8:30 a.m., is a pretty uninspired one! So, nothing happening this weekend…but…
CONNECT TO MESA – February 10th
This is going to be GREAT! All of Mesa is invited – no, expected! – okay, invited… – to join us at 8:30a, February 10th, for our Mesa Area reception for people new to our area. There will be refreshments, some singing, some sharing, and the chance for you to hear the stories of some EVBC Mesa resident. Childcare is offered through the Kids’ program, so choose right now to come!
FIRST EVER MESA MOUNTAIN BIKE TRIP
Mark the date now: Saturuday, March 8th. We’ll be gathering at 9:00 to start of bike ride into the hills. We’ll start at a beginning level, working our way up to some more challenging trails. Our ride will be led by Matt Long, who really knows what he’s doing when it comes to mountain biking.
Where exactly are these trails? Stay tuned for specific directions and locations — but mark the date now!
